U07-U08 PRE-CDC (20-week program)
Fostering the growth of young players, with an emphasis on social interactions and teamwork is what our program is all about.
The U7-U8 Pre-CDC program is an advanced, structured program (for boys and girls) designed to prepare young players for competitive play, focusing on skill development, tactical understanding (like small-sided games), structured training, and a positive, fun environment, aligning with the Canadian Soccer Association’s long-term player development (LTPD) model.
Created for those players starting to look at following a ‘competitive pathway’. This Pre-CDC level is designed to offer an enriching and structured learning experience for young soccer players, and it is where player commitment begins to increase – ideal for players eager to elevate their skills and prepare for possible future competitive play and is a transition into our U9-U12 CDC program. before players enter onto competitive teams.
The sessions are aligned with the Club’s structured training model and are led by our technical staff who have the necessary skills to help players progress in a fun and stimulating environment. Players are also invited to play friendly matches with U7-U8 players in neighboring clubs. The objective of the program is to expose the player to a more structured environment with specialized guidance. Our program allows young players to continue exploring the sport all the while strengthening their motor skills and refining their technical abilities. (Nominal extra fees could be collected to cover participation in friendly matches, festivals, etc.)
