Referees, Educators, Coaches, Captains and Managers

All educators, coaches, captains or managers over the age of 18 are required to request a volunteer screening/background check from the City of Pointe-Claire. The City no longer mails out volunteer cards, but does provide Soccer Pointe-Claire the list of valid background checks and their expiry date. When you make your request, whether it be a new one or a renewal, please scan or take a photo of your receipt and email it to Marilyn.
Please present yourself to the following location to make your request, you will need 2 pieces of ID with you:
- Bob Birnie Arena (58 Maywood Ave, Pointe-Claire, H9R 0A7)
  - June to August : Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm.
  - September to Mid-May: Monday to Sunday 7am to 10pm.
  - The arena is closed yearly for the last 2 weeks of May. During this time, and this time only, requests can be made at the Olive Urquhart center on Brunswick.

Please note:
- Do not click on Create a new participant unless you are entering a BRAND NEW MEMBER.
- For BRAND NEW MEMBERS (coaches or referees who are joining a soccer club in Quebec for the first time)
  - Enter their First name, last name and DOB as found on their Medicare card, click “Search”.
