Educators, Managers and Referees

Educators/Coaches/Captains

  • Returning educators, coaches and captains can register online.
  • New educators, coaches or captains can register online.
    • A new educator, coach or captain is a coach who has never coached soccer in Québec.
    • When registering online please be sure to use the exact name as it appears on your Medicare card.
    • At the end of the process, you need to print your affiliation form, sign it and return it by email to Marilyn.
    • Code of Conduct: When completing online registration and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the Code of Conduct.
    • In order for your online registration to be processed, the following must be sent to Marilyn: 
      • An image of the coach’s medicare card
      • A photo of the player with the following specifications:
        • The photo must be Digital and HD (not a scanned photo);
        • The photo must be taken on a solid white background;
        • The photo must be clear, well defined and neat;
        • The photo must show the entire face and the top of the shoulders (the image of the face and shoulders must be centered on the photo.  The head must not turned to the side;
        • The photo must be a JPEG format.
  • Educators, coaches or captains from another club must contact Marilyn to register and provide the following required documents:
    • An image of the coach’s Medicare card
    • A completed Affiliation Form: click here
      • Complete all fields marked with an X
    • A completed Code of Conduct:
  • All educators, coaches or captains over the age of 18 who are involved with a youth team (U4 to U18) are required to request a volunteer screening/background check from the City of Pointe-Claire.  The City no longer mails out volunteer cards, but does provide Soccer Pointe-Claire the list of valid background checks and their expiry date.  When you make your request, whether it be a new one or a renewal, please scan or take a photo of your receipt and email it to Marilyn.
  • The following locations can complete the volunteer screening process, you will need 2 pieces of ID with you:
    • Pointe-Claire Bob Birnie Arena: Monday to Sunday 7am to 11pm.
    • Pointe-Claire Recreation Building: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (closed at lunch).
    • Pointe-Claire City Hall: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Managers and Sanitary Managers

  • New and returning managers and sanitary managers must register in person. Office closed due to COVID-19, please contact Marilyn to register.
  • New and returning managers and sanitary managers must provide the following required document:
    • A completed Affiliation Form: Managers / Sanitary Managers
    • Complete all fields marked with an X
    • Completing your registration as a returning manager will confirm you have acknowledged the Code of Conduct located in the Terms and Condition section
  • New managers and sanitary managers must provide the following required documents:
      • Medicare Card
      • A completed Code of Conduct:

Referees

  • Returning referees can register online. At the end of the process, you will need to print your affiliation form (a link will be provided), sign it and return it by email, to Marilyn.
  • New referees can also register online (a new referee is one that has never refereed in Québec).
    • If you are a new referee, you must first see the details on our referee page and submit the online form.
    • At the end of the online process, you will need to print your affiliation form (a link will be provided), sign it and return it by email, to Marilyn.
    • In order for your online registration to be processed, the following must be sent to Marilyn:
      • An image of the referee’s medicare card
      • If the referee is not already a player or a coach, submit a photo of the referee with the following specifications:
        • The photo must be Digital and HD (not a scanned photo);
        • The photo must be taken on a solid white background;
        • The photo must be clear, well defined and neat;
        • The photo must show the entire face and the top of the shoulders (the image of the face and shoulders must be centered on the photo.  The head must not turned to the side;
        • The photo must be a JPEG format.
