Specific for Terra-Cotta 2 and Terra-Cotta 3 fields:

  • We would ask that players still use the entrance behind the player benches in order to facilitate the task for our Sanitary Managers to check-in the players prior to entering the fenced area.
  • Spectators should use the doors nearest to the bleachers (where the players will exit) and not enter with the players behind the benches.
  • Please note that it is very possible that players from other municipalities do not follow these instructions for which door to enter now that spectators can also enter and unfortunately we cannot really prevent them from doing so.  Let’s focus on our teams and facilitating the task for our Sanitary Managers to do their check-in.

SANITARY MANAGERS (Horacios)

  • Each group should be assigned at least 1 Sanitary Manager.
  • An Educator or Manager can take on the role of Sanitary Manager.
  • Sanitary Managers are responsible for taking attendance and asking each participant and educator in their group the 2 pre-participation questions.
  • How to fill in an attendance sheet:
    • What to fill in:
      • Enter the date of the practice.
      • Enter the groups for each player and educator (not necessary for Sanitary Managers since the group they check -in may not equal a group on the field due to changing groups).
      • Enter Y or N for each player and for those present enter the answer to their 2 pre-participation questions.  One of the Sanitary Managers will also need to enter Y or N for all the team “staff” (educators, captains, managers, sanitary managers).  Please do not leave any blanks, if someone is absent enter N.
        • If it is a coach acting as Sanitary Manager, please enter “S” instead of “Y” for their presence.  If they are also on the field coaching, they’ll have a group number.
    • What to do with the sheet after practice:
      • Save the Excel or take a photo or scan the sheet.  We even have 1 team who plasticizes their sheet and uses a fine point erasable marker, fills it in, takes a photo, erases and reuses for the next session.
      • For your email subject enter exactly the following: “YYYY-MM-DD TEAM”.  For example, “2021-06-12 FU15AA” or “2021-06-12 SELECTS” or “2021-06-12 PHOENIX” or “2021-06-12 M14 Manchester”.
      • Send the file to attendance@soccerpointeclaire.com by midnight the day of your practice as we’ll be checking the following day that we received them all.
  • Once your group is done on the field and has started exiting, please leave the field greeting area as the next Sanitary Managers should be arriving for the next sessions.
